Powertrain
A forklift has to be tough enough to last for many hours of heavy use within extreme settings. These machinery need to be able to move loads efficiently and fast whilst still being ergonomic to the operator. The reliable, rugged Yale powertrain offers excellent durability through its state of the art clutch packs, computer managed transmission and engine and really robust shafts and gears. The transmission, engine, drive axle and steer axle are all isolated so as to reduce noise and vibration in the compartment of the operator.

Electrical
The lift truck's electrical system is responsible for linking the truck's major nerve centers together. Therefore, the electrical system in the lift truck has to be really reliable and durable for the most demanding dry/wet and cold/hot operations. There is much sophistication needed to be able to control truck functionality.

Delivering dependable electronics are a well-known hallmark of all Yale trucks. The Yale CANbus electrical system uses digital technology and reduces electrical connections and reduces wiring as well. This results in remarkable serviceability and improved reliability.

Hydraulics
The lift trucks hydraulics are the muscles of the vehicle, giving the necessary force to raise many heavy loads. All Yale trucks feature industrial grade hydraulic parts. Several of these parts include: heavy-duty hydraulic valves, leak resistant O-ring face seal fittings, long lasting hoist and tilt cylinders, and fine micron filters. The control valve has been strategically positioned to be able to prolong part life by minimizing exposure to heat sources.
